Claude was used in an attempted Houthi weapons program

Anthropic says a northern-Yemen cell used Claude Code while developing guidance/control software for ballistic missiles and guided rockets, including troubleshooting after a failed test.

Coding agents are already useful enough that model-access controls are becoming part of weapons-proliferation security.
